Food and Nutrition
Education can’t begin until a student is focused and ready to learn, and when they go hungry, they are unprepared for the school day. Bright Bridge Foundation provides nutritional snacks students can access at school. Bright Bridge also adds money to children’s accounts on free and reduced lunches so that they can choose a la carte items like their peers can. Generous donations from the community provide schools with the necessary items to keep kids focused!
Clothing and Personal Care
As many parents know, students at the middle- and high-school levels grow very quickly, oftentimes faster than some families can accommodate. Bright Bridge provides funds for weather-appropriate clothing, shoes, and personal hygiene items when the student need arises.
School Supplies and Fees
Education happens when students have the materials they need to learn. Our fundraising bridges the gap between what students have and what they need, with a level playing field in mind. Our goal is that every student has the proper materials to learn, and equal access to the opportunities that make our school community such a special place.
